Value of a Home Environment
Little Lea operates out of our home located in the heart of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, at 212 E. Lexington St. We are 2 blocks away from Main Street and the Public Library. We offer nurture and learning for children 3 years and above. Our hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, January to December, with the exception of various holidays, vacation and summer schedules. Extended care is offered from 3:00-5:00 pm.

We have designed a Montessori learning environment within our home for the purpose of allowing children 3 years and above to encounter their amazing world while discovering their own unique and limitless potential. We help the children explore the many facets of their environment while providing multiple varied opportunities for the children to cultivate and grow their curiosity. Forming Lasting Friendships
Little Lea provides a safe place for children to explore and develop caring friendships through discovery and play. Most activities have built-in mentoring and collaborating elements. Children are either being guided by peers, are partnering with peers or are guiding peers. The multi-age groups are inclusive and the environment lends itself to growing new friendships. The children experience many levels of relationships.
Child Care Assistance Program For Families
WHAT IS IT?
The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides support to help families pay for child care, sometimes up to 100% of the cost. The Division of Child Care is responsible for all child care provider support and The Division of Family Support helps clients apply for the program. Do not hesitate to inquire with us as you may be eligible.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE CCAP PROGRAM
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements in 922 KAR 2:160. An applicant can determine if they are eligible by using the Prescreening Tool. To apply, please call toll free (855) 306-8959 or visit kynect.
CHILD CARE COSTS
Once approved for CCAP by the State, Little Lea Montessori will notify you of your family’s share of child care costs. Payments may be on a weekly or monthly schedule.
Tuition: This is the amount that Little Lea Montessori charges for services. Typically, this is a weekly or monthly amount charged to all families. As a CCAP family, you will not be charged more or less than private-pay families.
KY State Maximum Rate: This is the daily maximum rate that the state will pay. This amount varies and families can find the value in the DCC-300, Kentucky Child Care Maximum Payment Rate Chart.KY
Co-pay: This is the portion of the state rate that a family is responsible for paying based on income before taxes and family size. A co-pay breakdown can be found in 922 KAR 2:160 Child Care Assistance Program.
