ACCREDITATION/AFFILIATION: Little Lea Montessori is affiliated with the International Montessori Council. The International Montessori Council (IMC) is an international organization of Montessori schools, the men and women who lead them, own them, or serve on their boards, and other organizations interested in supporting the goals of the IMC. As an independent Montessori professional and accrediting organization, the IMC serves the entire Montessori community.
Little Lea Montessori is fully licensed by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) and the Division of Child Care, KY to operate in the state of Kentucky. The license number is L384165. The Division of Child Care (DCC) helps child care programs. We support plans that help grow and improve child care services and resources in our state.
Little Lea Montessori is supported by a network of state of KY child care professionals affiliated with the Child Care Aware of Kentucky which works in conjunction with CHFS. . Child Care Aware of Kentucky is housed at the Human Development Institute at the University of Kentucky. The Human Development Institute is Kentucky’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. We work on improving lifelong opportunities and services for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the community.
